VENICE, Fla., June 20, 2006 -- PGT Industries has added a double hung window, French door and fixed casement window to its line of WinGuard® Impact-Resistant Windows and Doors with vinyl frames. This makes WinGuard with vinyl frames one of the most complete lines of impact-resistant windows and doors that meet code and energy requirements for eastern coastal states.
PGT is the nation’s leading manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors.
“As the pioneers of impact-resistant windows and doors, all of our WinGuard products were originally and still are designed specifically for impact protection,” said Cara Klein, PGT director of advertising and public relations. “We did not take standard windows and doors and simply modify them for impact protection.
