Rod Hershberger, President

Mr. Hershberger, a co-founder of PGT Industries, Inc., has served the Company since its founding in 1980.  Appointed in 2005 as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hershberger led the company's IPO in 2006. As a publicly traded NASDAQ (PGTI) company, PGT is the nation's largest manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors. Previously, he served as President, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer overseeing PGT’s Florida and North Carolina operations. He has extensive experience leading several key business units, including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Transportation, Logistics and Customer Service.

Mr. Jackson, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, joined PGT in November 2005. Mr. Jackson has over sixteen years in Executive Management roles, including Division Chief Financial Officer, Vice President Corporate Controller, and Senior Vice President of Operations. Mr. Jackson earned a B.B.A. from the University of West Georgia and is a Certified Public Accountant

Mario Ferrucci, Corporate Counsel

Mr. Ferrucci joined PGT in April 2006. As Vice President, Corporate Counsel and Secretary, he is responsible for PGT’s Corporate Governance and Compliance. Previously a member of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, a leading law firm, and Walker Digital, LLC, Mr. Ferrucci graduated magna cum laude from the Widener University School of Law, earning an M.A.A.B.T. from the University of Connecticut and B.A. from Colby College. He is a member of the Delaware Bar Association.

Ms. LaPinska joined PGT in 1991 and is responsible for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. She previously held the position of Director, National and International Sales and has over 20 years experience with Customer Relations. Ms. LaPinska earned a B.A. in Business Management from Eckerd College.

Mr. Varnadore joined PGT in 1993 and is responsible for Architectural Systems. Mr. Varnadore earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida.

   

 
 

C. Douglas Cross
Vice President, Vinyl Product Stream and
                       Eastern Sales 
 

Mr. Cross joined PGT in March 2007 as Vice President. He oversees PGT’s vinyl product line. Located in the N.C. facility, he has over 25 years of manufacturing and leadership experience. Mr. Cross earned a B.S. in Commerce, from the University of Virginia and attended the Young Executives Institute, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. McCutcheon joined PGT in 1997. He directs Manufacturing, Facilities Planning, and Maintenance. Mr. McCutcheon has over ten years of management experience in Manufacturing Operations and Engineering. Mr. McCutcheon earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Linda Gavit, VP, Human Resources

Ms. Gavit joined PGT in 1999. She is responsible for Strategic Initiatives directed toward Employee Development, Compensation and Benefits, Communications, and Safety. Ms. Gavit has over 19 years of combined experience in Management, Human Resources and Employment Law. She earned a J.D. and a M.B.A. from the University of Denver.

 

  
 
Mary J. Kotler
Vice President, Supply Chain

 

Ms. Kotler joined PGT in October 2006. She is responsible for Purchasing, Supply Management, Materials Management, Physical Logistics, Transportation and Dock Operations. She has over 20 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Manufacturing Management while working at Siemens as Director of Lean Manufacturing and Rolls-Royce as Director of Logistics. Ms. Kotler earned a B.A. from the University of New Brunswick and an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto.
